Plantain Fry

Ingredients

3 small plantains
3 T oil
2 sprigs curry leaves

To grind-
1 tsp Fennel seeds
3 cloves Garlic
2 Madras onions
1 tsp Salt
1 T Red chilli powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder

Method:

Grind the above ingredients to a fine paste.
Remove the skins of the plantains and cut them into thick slices.
Marinate the plantain slices in the ground paste for 15 minutes.
Heat the oil in a wok. Throw in the curry leaves and the marinated plantain slices.
Keep the flame on sim and stir the plantain for around 10 minutes, till cooked.
Once the slices are cooked and browned, remove from flame.

If necessary you may add a tbsp of rice flour to the cooked plantain and stir for 3 minutes before removing from flame.
